Rachel Bailey received her Bachelor of Science from
Texas A&M University and her Doctor of Chiropractic from Texas Chiropractic
College. She is board certified through the National Board of Chiropractic
Examiners, the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners, and the Florida
Board of Chiropractic Medicine.
Dr. Bailey began learning about the human body as a local student in Round
Rock. Following graduation, she accepted an academic scholarship to attended
Millsaps College, where she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Biology and
was active with various extra curricular programs. Dr. Bailey was honored
by induction into the
National Society of Collegiate Scholars, the Freshman Honor Society Phi
Eta Sigma both the college and national level Dean's Lists, Who's Who,
the sorority Delta Delta Delta, and she served as Chairperson for the
Student Chapter of Women in Science. Dr. Bailey continued her childhood
love of dancing through the Millsaps College dance team, and she enjoyed
volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, the Circle K Club, and as a veterinarian
orthopedic surgical assistant - where her interest in anatomy and biomechanics
continued to grow.
Between her second and third years of college, Dr. Bailey transferred
to Texas A&M University in College Station, where she majored in the
Biomedical Sciences and was inducted into the Biology Honor Society Beta
Beta Beta. Dr. Bailey graduated with a Bachelor of Science, and started
attending classes at the Texas Chiropractic College less than two weeks
later. While at TCC she served as Class Officer, Treasurer of the Student
Body Association, catcher for the intramural clinic softball team, member
of the Kinesiology Club, Student American Chiropractic Association, Student
Texas Chiropractic Association, Student Alumni Association, International
Society, SBCA, Anatomy and Physiology tutor, and Pi Kappa Chi little sister.
Dr. Bailey completed her internship in chiropractic care at the Moody
Health Center and graduated from Texas Chiropractic College with her Doctorate
degree, Activator Technique Certification, and Applied Kinesiology Certification.
Dr. Bailey is enjoying being back in the Austin area and practicing chiropractic
with a particular interest in nutrition, applied kinesiology, and trauma
to the neck, shoulder, wrist, back, knee, ankle, and the foot. Outside
of practicing
chiropractic, Dr. Bailey enjoys hiking, skiing, horseback riding, exercising,
volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and the Georgetown R.O.C.K. Ride
On Center for Kids, Rotary, and spending time with her family and friends. |
