Oriental Medicine, which includes acupuncture, herbology, cupping and moxibustion (a form of heat therapy) offer a gentle and elegant way to approach health and wellness.

By opening the meridians and channels of the body, acupunctue allows the body to do what it often can do naturally - heal itself. Cupping and moxibustion support the healing process while Chinese herbal formulas and nutrition set the proper fertilization for the body to flourish.

Oriental Medicine can be a wonderful compliment to help people who are needing to use Westernized medicine for health issues.

As an adjunct to my practice I also use an Ionic Foot Bath which helps reestablish the correct balance of positive and negative ions within the body. This footbath has helped many to achieve better health through a detoxification process.

Education

I received my Master’s in Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College in Santa Monica, CA in 1993. My first practice was established in Portland, Maine where I worked for four years before moving to Austin in 1997.
